“Pau” is a visual study of hallucinatory visions that can erupt when mourning, as perceived through the eyes of the young and disillusioned Pau. In her nostalgic quest to find her prematurely deceased father, Pau struggles to differentiate the reality of his death with the surrealistic nature of her illusions. As her passion leads to her misery, Pau embodies the afflictions of the human condition and the will to grasp onto childhood bliss and innocence.
